Back to school: Workman welcomes Apprentices and Graduates
We are delighted to welcome 37 new joiners into our graduate and apprenticeship schemes. The new cohort is in addition to the 20 graduates who joined the firm in January: a total of 57 since the start of 2021. Working within property management and building consultancy, the starters will be based at Workman offices across the UK, including Glasgow, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Swindon, Bristol and Birmingham.
Investment in future talent has always been a cornerstone of Workman culture. Our graduate and apprentice intake is not only evidence of our ongoing commitment to people and positive change, but also a reflection of the resilience of the market, as the property industry rolls up its sleeves in preparation for a productive fourth quarter.
Along with practical training and mentorship from Partners and managers, the apprentices and graduates will also benefit from the extensive support of our HR team to help them make a successful start to their career and integrate into the firm. Initially, the new recruits will have the opportunity to meet one another via informal online social and induction meetings, but as our staff gradually return to our offices to reconnect and collaborate with their teams, more local face-to-face social gatherings are organised over the coming weeks
As Workman welcomes apprentices and graduates, we appreciate that people are the drivers of positive change. Consequently, the energy, determination and commitment of our teams – many of whom were originally recruited as apprentices and graduates – serves as a strong example to these new starters being welcomed into the 2021 Workman family.
