As the demand for smart buildings grows, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of IBOS, our intelligent building system, as reported in EG.
IBOS is an intelligent building operating system, which enables the automation and optimisation of buildings’ operations to make them smart. Developed in collaboration with our technology partners, Bubll Automation, it utilises cutting-edge IoT technology. This enables automated operations, remote engineering capabilities, and effective data analytics of building systems.
The easily installed, scalable platform includes enhanced occupier and maintenance interfaces delivered through mobile apps. These provide the local control and operational efficiencies essential for creating a route to Net Zero and healthier working environments.
Smart building platform solution delivered by our Building Technology team
Our Building Technology team is bringing IBOS, a new product, to the market. This leverages our property management, project management, building consultancy and ESG expertise. The team will integrate the system and provide continuous data analytics. This helps optimise building operations and contributes to ESG reporting.
James Hallworth, part of the Building Technology team at Workman commented:
“Having worked with the team at Bubll Automation for 12 months to develop and pilot this product, we’re delighted to now be able to offer it to our clients. The data, insight and optimisation this platform can provide are essential components for getting commercial assets on the road to Net Zero.
Importantly, as the system doesn’t necessitate existing BMS in buildings, it is commercially viable for a range of assets. It also enables the management of data from whole portfolios on one central platform.
After successfully piloting the system across several properties, we are already in discussions regarding its installation with various investors. This includes integrating it as part of some major refurbishment schemes.”
