Workman has named three strategic divisional leads as part of the latest evolution of its building consultancy team.

This new structure is designed to provide cradle to grave advice across all projects. It ensures that every instruction is not only technically precise but also strategically aligned with clients’ commercial goals. As part of its ongoing transformation, Workman continues to focus on expert talent. Over the past year, the firm has made senior hires across compliance, legal and HR, and recently welcomed Amy Farr as Head of Building Safety and Construction Compliance.

As part of the structure, James Ainsworth has been named Project Lead for project management, contract administration and retail delivery; Keith Godsmark is now Professional Lead for dilapidations, fire and technical due diligence; and Richard Fridd has been named Development Lead for development support and development monitoring.

In a fast-moving market we anticipate continued growth to our pipeline with increasingly complex instructions, and our divisional leads will be critical in managing multifaceted transaction, project, and operational requirements, navigating building safety, cost control, and supply chain volatility, by recommending bespoke, outcome-focussed solutions.

“Building consultancy requires more than technical expertise – it demands a deep understanding of our clients’ broader business objectives, our people understand how to join the dots between the ‘why’, ‘what’ and ‘how.’ Beyond delivering a service; we’re delivering a strategic solution. What sets us apart is not simply completing tasks but truly understanding and supporting our clients’ strategic goals. Our new divisional leads ensure that every project we undertake is not only technically excellent but commercially intelligent, aligning precisely with our clients’ business plans and market challenges.”
