Our culture & values
We're creating a culture where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to make a difference.
Even though we're in property, we're all about people
Autonomy, empowerment, collaboration, integrity and professionalism are all equally important to us. We believe in people – their growth, wellbeing, and success – so with professionalism and pride, we’re building a workplace as well-engineered as our services.
Listening to employees
Our transformation began with listening to employees across 124 group sessions. What emerged wasn’t shocking – we knew the challenges – but underneath was something powerful: genuine goodwill and people who wanted the business to succeed. That gave us something solid to build on.
We’ve rejuvenated our Employee Network Groups, including Women at Workman, LGBTQ+ at Workman, REACH (Race and Equality Cultural Heritage), and DNMH (Disability, Neurodiversity and Mental Health). We’ve updated policies covering parenting, menopause, mental health, agile working, and neurodiversity.
We’ve established Mental Health Champions in every office, and launched our partnership with Inclusive Employers to measure real impact, not just activity.
Our culture transformation may always be a work in progress, but real change is already happening.
